Back at the yard we provide luxury barn-style stabling for your horse or pony to relax in between adventures. Each spacious 12 x 12 stable comes complete with a fresh bed of shavings on a rubber matted floor for extra comfort, automatic water drinker and our own home grown hay. When not out exploring or snoozing in the stable there's also separate grazing available for all of our equine guests to enjoy.
We do ask that all visiting equine companions are fully vaccinated and insured for third party liability.

For those of us who think there's nothing better than being in the saddle Hunter House Farm is situated in the middle of Teesdale, with easy access to some of the most glorious unspoilt countryside waiting to be explored. With tracks that are suitable for all riding abilities both on the farm and around the nearby reservoirs you can while away your time in the stunning countryside.
We are more than happy to provide maps and/or directions for guests bringing their own horses or if you'd prefer company we can provide accompanied riding on our own horses. Unfortunately we are unable to offer "horse hire".
